What will you get when you register for the 14-Day Core Challenge?

  • You will have lifetime access to all 14-days of the 14-Day Core Challenge.

  • All classes are pre-recorded, which means you can watch the class where you want when you want.

  • All classes are 20 minutes or less.

  • The movements introduced in the 14-Day Core Challenge are creative and functional and go beyond sit-ups and crunches.

  • Modifications will be given to those with shoulder and neck sensitivities. 

  • The importance of the pelvic floor and how to safely perform each movement with pelvic floor awareness in mind will also be highlighted in this challenge.

  • You will also get an invitation to join our MVW Community Facebook Group. This group is open to all members of the MVW community (virtual and in-person). It is a welcoming and safe space to share recipes, ask questions about health and wellness, and meet other like-minded people.

I’m a little out of shape. Will I be able to do this challenge?

YES! This is all about listening to your body, challenging yourself when needed, taking a break, and getting stronger every day! If you try your best every day of the challenge, you will get stronger (physically, mentally, and emotionally).

I have an old shoulder injury, will I be able to modify any of the movements?

I LOVE modifications and offer plenty of them in all of my classes and especially during the challenge. In this challenge, I offer modifications specifically for shoulder, neck, wrist, and pelvic floor sensitivities.

What will each class look like?

Each class will be about 20 minutes long (rest days will be shorter). We will do between 3-4 sets of core strength-building exercises with a few minutes of rest between sets.

Will we be doing core work every day for 14 days straight?

No, I have planned some rest days in the program because rest is really when the magic, the recovery happens. Classes on rest days will be shorter and involve attention to breathwork and stretching. You will also be encouraged to do something you love to do on that day, whether it be something physical (like walking, running, or hiking)or something not so physical (like reading, crafting, or chatting with friends).

What will you need for the challenge?

  • You will need a space to practice. It doesn’t need to be a large studio or anything like that. Enough space for a yoga mat should suffice.

  • You will also need at least two yoga blocks. You can purchase those online. I have also seen them in big box stores and even TJ Maxx  We will be using those blocks on day 4, so if you don’t have them now, don’t worry about it. Just be sure to get them soon.

  • You will need a yoga mat.

  • You may also want a blanket nearby to help support your neck in some positions.

  • Wear some comfy clothes.

  • And finally, a water bottle is a good thing to have nearby.

Are sneakers necessary?

Not necessarily. Wearing shoes is up to you. In the videos, I don’t wear shoes while working out because I feel more grounded and balanced barefoot, but that is completely up to you!
