FOUNDATION
3 MONTH PROGRAM

The Foundations program is the perfect start for building healthy, sustainable habits.

Over three months, we focus on strength training, nutrition, and self-care to help you feel more energized and confident. This is an ideal introduction to coaching for those looking for initial momentum and results.

Best For: Women seeking to kickstart their health journey with a structured, focused plan.

This program is perfect for women who want the flexibility of following a customized strength program while also having access to in-person coaching during set hours. It’s ideal for those who feel comfortable working independently but appreciate ongoing support and accountability.
It includes:

*A custom strength training program tailored to your goals

*Feedback and support via the app
*Weekly coaching calls with your 1:1 Health Coach

For in-person members:

*Full membership to Ascent, including access to yoga classes, the sauna, climbing, and the weight room

*Coaching during coaching hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 am – 10 am)

MASTERY
6 MONTH PROGRAM

The Mastery program is designed for women who know they have a longer journey ahead—whether it's weight loss or creating lasting lifestyle changes. Over six months, you’ll work closely with your coach to achieve deeper, more significant transformation. With extended support and accountability, you’ll have the time needed to solidify habits that stick.

Best For: Women ready to commit to a long-term health transformation, with weight loss or more significant lifestyle goals in mind.

At Mountain View Wellness, we specialize in helping women over 40 build strength, feel empowered, and create lasting change. Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, boost your energy, or fight off osteoporosis, I’ve designed two powerful programs to get you where you want to be.

We offer both in-person coaching and virtual health coaching options, so you can choose the program that works best for your lifestyle and goals.

Why should women over 40 strength train?
As we age, we naturally lose muscle mass, which can lead to decreased strength, energy, and even bone density. Strength training helps combat these changes by building lean muscle, improving bone health, boosting metabolism, and enhancing overall well-being. For women over 40, it’s especially important in preventing osteoporosis, improving balance, and maintaining independence for years to come. Strength training isn't just about getting stronger—it's about thriving in your midlife and beyond.

Closing the Gap for Women Over 40
I understand that many women over 40 may not be familiar with strength training, might be fearful of injury, or simply don't know where to start when it comes to programming. That’s why I created the Stronger Together program—to fill that gap. My goal is to provide the knowledge, support, and confidence you need to train safely, effectively, and with purpose. Whether you’re completely new to lifting or returning after a long break, this program will empower you to take control of your health.

VIRTUAL HEALTH COACHING OPTION

If you're not local or prefer the flexibility of training on your own schedule, virtual health coaching is an ideal option. With virtual coaching, you’ll receive a custom strength training program that fits your lifestyle and can be done at home or in your own gym—on your own time.

In addition to your custom workout plan, you'll receive:

  • 1:1 support from your dedicated health coach

  • Weekly (or bi-weekly depending upon your preference) 30-minute coaching calls to ensure you’re staying on track and progressing

  • A personalized plan that addresses all aspects of your health, from fitness to mindset

Women'-Owned Business of the Year Acceptance Speech

I had the honor of accepting the Women-Owned Business of the Year award at the Hamden Choice Awards. This speech reflected my journey in building Mountain View Wellness and my commitment to empowering women, particularly those navigating the challenges of midlife.

I spoke about the importance of women supporting each other and creating spaces for growth, both physically and emotionally.

Corporate Training for Mental Health Clinicians on Menopause

I created and delivered a 1-hour training for mental health clinicians, focusing on the intersection of menopause symptoms and mental health.
During this training I:

Educated professionals on how to identify and understand the unique challenges faced by women during perimenopause and menopause

Offered the clinicians tools to better support their clients.

Helped to raise awareness and improve client care by addressing the often-overlooked impact of hormonal changes on mental health.

Mindfulness Workshop for the YMCA
I spoke to a group of seniors at the YMCA group about the role of mindfulness in overall health and well-being.

We explored practical strategies for incorporating mindfulness into daily routines, helping individuals:

manage stress

improve focus

enhance their connection to their own health

The talk resonated deeply with attendees, emphasizing the vital role mental wellness plays in achieving long-term health goals.
