Mountain View Wellness Mission Statement

To offer wellness programs that help our community members:

 ·     better manage stress
·     ease anxiety
·     combat loneliness
·     recognize the connection between the body, mind, heart, and soul
·     experience more joy in their lives

To create a welcoming community and open learning environment for all people to learn about and experience wellness of the body, mind, heart, and soul through yoga, qigong, meditation, and various complementary therapies.

  • learn about experience the wisdom of various healing arts such as yoga, qigong, and meditation

    With the idea that the better we take care of ourselves, the better we can take care of the ones we love.

to create a space our members can call home, where they feel welcome and seen for who they are beyond their labels of parent, child, sibling, spouse…

to create a community of meditators (sangha) that welcomes meditators of all backgrounds and experiences to be a part of a larger community of meditators.

As leaders of the Mountain View Community we will:

  • know the names of each of our members

  • we will celebrate each others victories, support each other during times of crisis, and encourage curiosity

  • we will feed our community members’ curiosity by providing them with various opportunities to learn and to experience wellness via weekly classes and weekend workshops

  • listen to our community members stories and encourage member-to-member relationships before, during, and after our classes and programs are taught

    Our instructors must:

  • be certified in their field (RYT-200 hours, RYT-500 hours

  • be kind and compassionate

  • see themselves as wellness professionals, ready to share their gifts with the community

  • have their own practice

  • be aware of and practice the 4 Agreements:

    • Be impeccable with your word.

    • Don't take anything personally.

    • Don't make assumptions.

    • Always do your best.
